As a foodie living in Murray Hill (which consists of the East 30’s in NYC), I felt the need to share some of the areas best places to grab a bite or take home some grub. There are so many different places to choose from and if you’re not familiar with the neighborhood, you may end up wasting your time on something average.

Let’s start with Japanese food. Chado Sushi has recently opened in the area and is superb. Unfortunately, it is expensive but it’s darn tasty! The partner/executive chef formerly worked at Sushi of Gari, which is one of the best in NYC. So by no surprise, expect great things. They’re known for their sauces they use and their Omikase, so take a chance and try out whatever the chef suggests.

Everyone once in a while, we need to spoil ourselves with some junk food. Well, if it’s your time to do this, then take advantage of Carl’s Cheesesteaks. I’ve had many cheesesteaks in NY and in Philadelphia, but this is arguably one of the best in both cities. Go with the “whiz wit.”

Mexican food is one my favorites. I’m talkin’ high end Mexican food, like they make at Biblioteca on Third Avenue. They make amazing fish tacos and if I had to eat one thing everyday, it would be these tacos. This compliments their incredible list of high end Tequila as well.

Chinese food on Sunday nights is one of the things I look forward to every week. After searching for years, I finally came across Grand Sichuan on Lexington Avenue. They make the classic American Chinese dishes, but I’ve discovered some of their traditional Chinese dishes, which happen to be excellent. It makes it easier if you’re with a friend who is of Asian decent.

If you want something more romantic, Barbes is a true gem in the area. It’s away from most of the action, so most people don’t know it. However, it’s always crowded for good reason. This French Moroccan cuisine is priced well, with main courses up to $30. The staff is also extremely accommodating.

Large parties must attend Patsy’s Pizzeria. This family style Italian restraint makes great pizza, pasta and salads. It’s very easy to go with big groups and it’s a laid back atmosphere. Nobody will leave hungry!

Now get out there and go eat! This list will leave your stomach very satisfied as I’ve been eating in the neighborhood for years. These are the best places you can eat in Murray Hill!

This author is a huge foodie, but also loves electronics. His most recent blog post discusses outdoor speaker wire and outdoor stereo speakers.

Crab lovers, steak fanatics, and food aficionados must keep their pile of restaurant business cards. Why? They might lose sight of the best dine out places in all of the USA. Funny as this may sound, this is true.

What Was That Place, Honey?

After a good meal of fresh crabs, shrimp Creole, and grilled juicy Tuna slabs, it’s time to go ask for the place’s business card. You’ll want to recommend the place to you family and friends. Start collecting these cards and stack it in your personalized business card holders. One day it’ll pay dividends.

It’s very frustrating not to recall the place when somebody asks you the name of that great discovery and all you can say is “What was that place, honey?” You have no choice bout to draw a map and put an X on the place that’s supposed to be the great find.

A call placed to the restaurant may yield information how to find the place but it’s different when you know which to call for that lip-smacking Italian Veal Rolls and Baked Fennel.

If you are also in the food business or a columnist writing about great dine-out places, these personalized business card holders are your important tools of the trade, so take no chances.

To make sure you have the right place, always write that spectacular menu at the back of the business card before you hustle it into your personalized business card holders. You’ll know which to call for what and which to recommend to your boss.

The Great Dine-outs Without The Sting

In Denver, there’s this restaurant on Colfax Avenue that has the scrumptious desserts and filling meals – seafood, spicy Mexican delights, and pasta, and the beer is overflowing. There’s actually booze in the mixed drinks. You’ll love to hang out there too because of the friendly staff.

The French Roast Cafa in Broadway, New York has goat cheese salad and chilled avocado soup to die for. You’ll also love the salads and the gratins they served. It’s always a busy place, but no wonder.

In San Francisco, there’s this restaurant that repeats the classic old world charm in its interiors. The best seared day boat scallops is just one of the many reasons to go there. A bit expensive but you’ll get the best dining experience on less expense.

Just imagine if you lose their business cards because you didn’t file it in your personalized business card holders! Forget the name of the restaurant and lose the business card, and all is lost. Okay you can find it in the internet, but nothing beats the fact that you have at your disposal tons of business cards to best eats.

More Expensive Dining

If you have a yen for expensive dining, there’s this culinary palace in the upper East Side that offers a five course meal at a whooping $125 per person. If this doesn’t shock you yet, there’s another elegant restaurant in Napa Valley that serves dinner at a mind-boggling $254 per person.

So keep the chef’s business cards on your personalized business card holders for that big spending – and truly great dining experience.

Your personalized business card holders and credit card holders are cool groomsmen gift ideas. Check out executivegiftshoppe.com now for great buys.

Las Vegas is an impressive restaurant destination in all price ranges. Although the fine dining category has really exploded in the past few years, there are still many restaurants in Las Vegas where you can eat delicious food at low prices. Read on to learn about some of the restaurants, many of which are locals favorites, that will give you the most for your money and satisfy your hunger.

Pepe’s Tacos is a local favorite for 24-hour authentic Mexican food. There are three locations of Pepe’s Tacos in Las Vegas. A notable breakfast option is the chorizo con juevos, which is sausage with eggs, served with beans rice and tortillas for $5.25. They have many lunch and dinner plates for under $8, with meals such as carnitas (deep fried pork), carne asada (grilled chopped steak), mojarra (a fish plate), tortas, super burritos, and a variety of tacos. All meals include beans, rice and tortillas. They also have carne asada french fries, chips and guacamole and authentic Mexican drinks such as Horchata and Jarritos.

Aloha Kitchen is a local gem that brings true Hawaiian cuisine to the Las Vegas area. Aloha Kitchen has three locations in Las Vegas, one that includes a bar with gaming and karaoke. They have a large selection of Hawaiian food, including garlic chicken with gravy, chicken teriyaki bowls (the teriyaki sauce is excellent), loco moco (homemade hamburger patty topped with eggs and gravy over rice), kalbi ribs (beef short ribs marinated in a Korean style sauce), kalua pig and cabbage, a mahi mahi plate and much more, most for under $10, some much less. They also have a $5 off coupon on their website.

Roberto’s Taco Shop has at least 11 locations around Las Vegas and is quite simply cheap eating at its best. They have a range of combination plates, tortas, tostadas, burritos, tacos and taquitos. Their carne asada super nachos are absolutely scrumptious and a huge portion at that. The chicken tacos are deep fried and stuffed with chicken, cheese and lettuce. They have a huge menu with most prices in the $5 to $7 range. Open 24/7, some of the Roberto’s locations are even connected to pubs.

El Pollo Loco is a large restaurant chain that specializes in mouth-watering flame-grilled chicken. If you have never had the opportunity to try the delectable chicken of El Pollo Loco, give it a shot while you’re in the Las Vegas area. There are 12 locations around town, each with a plentiful salsa bar to help you dress up your meal. Chicken is the king of this place, with the inside being juicy while the outside is crispy and golden-colored, some pieces are even slightly blackened. The meals are Mexican-influenced and there are many fresh, healthy choices on this menu. The prices are in the $5-$7 range.

Villa Pizza serves up the most authentic New York thin-crust pizza in the Las Vegas valley. I recommend the Sahara/Valley View location as being a real treasure. The crust, sauce and piping-hot cheese that drips off the slice are lip-smacking good. There are a couple of lunch specials that cost about $5. You can buy a slice or a whole pie, or try their salads or pastas. For dessert, they have a great fried dough treat covered in powdered sugar (zeppoli)and served fresh in a paper bag.

The Feast Gourmet Buffet at Boulder Station was remodeled in 2009 and it offers a wide variety of excellent food in a comfortable and attractive setting. You can find a 2 for 1 coupon for this buffet daily in the Las Vegas Review Journal. Sign up for their players card (called “Boarding Pass” at Station Casinos) for discounts on already low buffet prices. If you are gambling in any casino, it is a good idea to sign up for a players card as it tracks your money spent and offers you rewards/comps (often on dining) based on this information.

There is a lot of potential in Las Vegas to eat a variety of tasty food on a dime. As a former 11-year resident of Las Vegas, these are the places that I grew to love and I now look forward to visiting when I am in town. If you are in Las Vegas and looking for some great local flavor, any one of these fine budget eating options will please your taste buds and not leave you broke.

Sarah Stockham is a writer, co-owner of an online pet certificate service and is pursuing further entreprenuerial goals. She is a former 11-year resident of Las Vegas, and is now a resident of beautiful Spokane, Washington. She operates a vacation rental property in Las Vegas, called Moonlight Ranch. For more details about Moonlight Ranch, please feel free to check it out at http://www.moonlightranchlasvegas.com/.

Chicago – with a rich cultural background and great shopping, it is no wonder tourists are attracted to this fun-filled city. When you have high end shopping down Magnificent Mile and State Street, or beautiful Millennium Park with an ice skating rink, Crown Fountain, sculptures, and outdoor theaters with bands, where else would you want to visit. Chicago immediately sucks you in with a night life of music that ranges from gospel to hip-hop or punk. Now that you are in this great city, where do you go to eat? Well here are a few suggestions and great cultural and fun Chicago restaurants to check out while you are in town.

A Middle Eastern restaurant called the Chickpea is a great place to start on your tasting tour of the best Chicago restaurants. This diverse place is decked out in American movie posters in Arabic and Islamic patterns and decorations. Its family own and run restaurant serves up an assortment of fine dishes. Their Palestinian and Middle Eastern menu sports items such as mussakhkhan, falafel and hummus. It’s a fun little cultural experience, but don’t forget to bring cash or a credit card, they don’t accept travelers checks. They serve dinner and lunch and meals go for under nine dollars. As most reviews say, this restaurant pays more attention to the food they serve than the atmosphere. So enjoy good food and a bit a culture at this Chicago Restaurants.

Another great one of the many Chicago restaurants to try out is the unusual Café Bella. With brick walls, an open kitchen and hardwood floors creates a mix of casual atmosphere. They serve quick lunches and dinners as a café during the week, and on the weekend, the place is full as it becomes more of a restaurant. They are open from eleven to nine pm daily. And they don’t seat more than thirty people. The menu consists of items such as salads, Caribbean Chicken, soups and Latin, Italian or French based foods. One important thing to note, this restaurant doesn’t serve alcohol, but they do have BYOB (bring your own booze). Expect the meals to be around or under nine dollars per person. This place is great for a small get together or a quick meal during the day.

Looking for a great Mexican restaurant? Why not try out La Palapa. It’s a one of a kind Mexican restaurant that serves real traditional Mexican style seafood. This place is easy to find and to spot with a large life-size shark on top the restaurant. Once again this is bring your own booze restaurant, but they will cork them for you at a fee of a dollar fifty cents. Their menu contains items such as mariscos, ceviche, and handmade quesadillas. If you visit this restaurant during the summer, you will have option to eat outside at tables under large thatched umbrellas. The average meal will cost between nine dollars and fifteen dollars. The restaurant is open from ten am to nine pm and on weekends from ten am to ten pm. The menu makes this one of Chicago restaurants a must for authentic Mexican seafood.

The Chickpea, Café Bella and La Palapa are just a few of the great restaurants that you can find in Chicago. If none of these restaurants appeal to you, then try and find your own restaurants online. It’s easy just search for Restaurants in Chicago and you will be able to find reviews and other information. This also works for other place you may travel to as well, like for Phoenix restaurants. There are great restaurants, just get out and find them.

Never second guess a decision, embrace it; Then you will succeed.

Some websites do not directly provide you with the name and addresses but they provide you with the link to the websites of the restaurants in Central Washington.

Food

Their prices vary. Some are costly, some are in the mid range, and some are cheaper than the others. Choose the one that matches the weight of your purse.

If you are a tourist, find out some good travel guide. You will definitely get some name and addresses of the hotels present in Central Washington. Sometimes these guides mislead because of business relations with the restaurants. So, get a good guide book. You can also take help from the travel agency or the travel local guide. Ask them, they know the place better and the restaurants upside down.

If you are a local, try out them. You may find one very good among them.

“You can’t get good Mexican food anywhere north of Texas.” So averred my good buddy Tony when I suggested a Mexican meal on his recent visit. Now, I’m a good deal north of Texas, being in the Heart of Massachusetts, but that’s the kind of challenge that I can’t pass up. Three hours later, he was rubbing his stuffed belly as we left Tortilla Sam’s, voted Worchester’s Best Mexican Restaurant for the third year in a row. Being voted Best Mexican Restaurant in a little northeastern city may not seem like much – till you stand in front of the window at Tortilla Sam’s and watch the tortillas – freshly mixed and cut by hand – roll through the steam press and catch a whiff of the mole. Then you realize that this is real Mexican food. And if the Mexican food in Worcester is good enough to impress Texas-born-and-raised Tony, we’ve got to figure that there are great Mexican restaurants in other unexpected places, right? I went looking for the most out-of-the-way and unexpected places to find good Mexican food. My criteria and method were simple – and hardly foolproof. In order to make the list, the restaurant must serve primarily Mexican food, and must have been voted a Best Mexican Restaurant in a local newspaper poll. There must be some mention in the review of authenticity. If there was a comment from someone who really KNOWS Mexican food, that gets bonus points. The list is a long way from exhaustive, but if you’re looking for good Mexican food a long way from home, you just might get your craving satisfied at one of these unlikely places to find authentic Mexican food. Charlotte, N.C. Me, I’d go looking for a good mess of pinto beans and Southern barbecue in beautiful Charlotte, but if I did have a craving for Mexican food, I’d head on over to Taqueria Las Delicias. It only took the #8 spot on AOL’s CityGuide City’s Best awards, but any place that serves its tamales wrapped in corn husk AND offers lesser known Mexican foods like pupusas and taquitos is going to get a visit from me when I hit Charlotte. Boston, MA The home of baked beans and clam chowder (white, thank you very much) is also the home to Andale!, a tiny restaurant that seats 8 at the counter. Forget the ground, slightly spiced meat mush that passes for Mexican food in most of Massachusetts, and build yourself a quesadilla from chunks of roast chicken and spiced vegetables. It’s fast Mexican food at its best, even if it is in Boston. Philadelphia, PA Next time I’m in Philly, I’m skipping the cheese steak and heading out for Mexican food. Voted Best Mexican food in the Philly area, Coyote Crossing in Conshohocken has all the standard gringo-Mex foods on the menu, but it also has… caramel crepes and homemade sangria. Seattle, WA Can I get a café latte to go with the chilies relleno? El Puerco Lloron in Seattle has been serving up its handmade tortillas and fresh salsa for over two decades and they’re still making the Best Of lists. If there is real Mexican food in the gateway to Alaska, chances are that you’ll find it here. Baltimore, MD The folks at the Baltimore Citypaper appreciate the irony of naming a Best Mexican Restaurant in Baltimore. To paraphrase, it’s like naming the best air conditioner salesman in Antarctica. Still, they dub the Mexican food at Los Amigos Mexican restaurant ‘good’ and the wait staff friendly. Not quite a ringing endorsement, but if I get sick of crab cakes in Baltimore, I know where I’ll go.
