Many people get stuck in a rut and find themselves eating in the same restaurant over and over again. Others have a few restaurants that they go to for their various cravings, but seldom look beyond these few choices. Los Angeles is one of the few places in the country where you can literally find every type of food that you could imagine. It is time to consider some other fine dining choices and broaden your horizons a little bit.

A quick look at the restaurants in the Los Angeles area will give you an idea of how many different types of restaurants that are available to you right in your own backyard. There are enough restaurants in the Los Angeles area that you could literally visit a new place every week for a very long time. This is a fun way to try new foods and discover other fine dining experiences in your own area.

To get started, make a list of the other fine dining restaurants in your area that you have not tried. You can separate them by the type of cuisine that is served, or you can just keep your list random. It might be more fun to keep the list random and just try the new type of food when it comes up on your list.

You should also do a little research when you are planning a night at a restaurant that is serving food that you have never eaten before. Many restaurants have their menu online so you can get a peek at some of the choices that you will have. It’s a good idea to make a rough decision on what you will be ordering if you are unfamiliar with the particular type of food. Ask your friends and family if they have tried the particular cuisine that you will be ordering and if they have any recommendations for you. Some foods can have a variety of dishes that include spicy foods. If you don’t enjoy spicy foods, you will want to know in advance which foods to order so that you can enjoy your meal.

Recommendations from friends are another good way to find other fine dining restaurants that you have not tried before. Everyone has their favorite places to dine and you can learn a lot about the restaurants around you by asking others which they enjoy.

Online reviews are another place to find restaurants that you are unfamiliar with in your local area. Keep in mind that there will be both negative reviews and positive ones on most restaurant review sites. The key to finding a restaurant using these sites is to look for the ones that have more good than bad. You might also consider the points that are made in a negative review to determine what your experience might be in the restaurant. Every place can have an off night or the reviewer might be difficult to please. Just use common sense when reading these types of reviews. This is a great way to find some other fine dining restaurants in your local Los Angeles area to try out and enjoy.

http://www.restaurants.califindit.com Francesca Romano has owned and operated several Italian restaurants in the Greater Los Angeles area. She is currently working with CaliFindIt.com, California’s premier source of information, developing their restaurant section. If you are looking for fine dining, casual dining or takeout restaurants in Los Angeles, visit http://www.restaurants.califindit.com to find all of L.A.’s best restaurants, their menus, maps to their locations and coupons for discounts.

Try the red Rock Feats at the Red Rock Canyon Resort where there are six live-action cooking stations. This buffet is one of the largest in the city. You certainly won’t walk away hungry. Dine in candlelight at a table for two and let the rest of the world pass you by for an evening of romance.

Aureole – This is easily recognized as one of the restaurants for American cuisine. It is located in the Mandalay Resort and Casino and features world class chefs. Designed by Adam D. Tihany, you will feel as if you are the only two people in the world when you dine here.

Among the hundreds of restaurants that Disney World has to offer, there are some that are a bit more luxurious and expensive than others. These restaurants are considered to be signature dining restaurants and although they are quite spectacular, they do come with a few extra requirements.

All signature dining restaurants provide unparalleled cuisines served in an elegant and relaxed surrounding. If you purchased a Disney World dining plan, then 2 table service meals for each person dining will be redeemed from your meal plan balance. Advanced reservations are strongly recommended and gratuities are not included.

The signature restaurants do have a dress code. Items not permitted in the dining room include: tank-tops, swimsuits, hats for gentlemen, cut-offs, or torn clothing of any kind.

Artist Point – This upscale eatery features the cuisine from Washington, Oregon and British Columbia. This restaurant draws its inspiration from the dining rooms found at National Park lodges. The restaurant provides murals, paintings and a stunning view of Silver Creek Falls.

California Grill – Located on the top floor of the resort, this dining location offers amazing views of the Magic Kingdom. This restaurant is the perfect place for a romantic evening!

Cinderella’s Royal Table – Being the entrance to Fantasy Land, Cinderella’s Royal Table is definitely the center of attention, standing at an amazing 180 ft. You will definitely feel like royalty while enjoying your meal here because this dining location also offers characters. Cinderella and friends meet and greet with you as you dine in this elegant atmosphere.

Citricos – One word sums up this dining location and its menu…magnifique! This sophisticated restaurant offers a combination of many cuisines. Citricos chefs rotate dinner selections frequently for a focused menu of American dishes inspired by the cuisine of Provence, Tuscany, and the Spanish Riviera – such as steaks, seared on an oak-filled grill, creative risotto, pastas, and seafood depending on the season.

Flying Fish Cafe – This popular restaurant features “New American” cuisine with an emphasis on seafood. You will also find poultry, beef, and vegetarian selections on the menu. They also have a show kitchen where guests can watch the talented staff prepare their meals using the freshest ingredients.

The tables are covered in crisp white linens and rich, wood paneling is used throughout.

Jiko (The Cooking Place) – The heritage of Africa is certainly reflected in the decor of this restaurant. Jiko has sculptured birds that soar overhead and rings that surround the tiled columns which represent the Padaung tribe whose women wore distinctive neck rings. Their menu is influenced by the cultures of Africa, the Mediterranean Coast, India and Europe. Their expansive South African wine list is the most exclusive in the United States.

Narcoossee’s – This Victorian-style seafood restaurant sits on the shores of the Seven Seas Lagoon in an airy, eight-sided pavilion. If you make your reservation after nightfall, you can enjoy a spectacular view of the Wishes fireworks show in the Magic Kingdom theme park.

Yachtsman Steakhouse – This classic steakhouse has a New England theme backdrop and serves the best in quality, aged, grain-fed beef. The Yachtsman Steakhouse takes special care of children’s tastes with a menu that sports grilled chicken strips, pasta, baked fish, and grilled sirloin steak. You can watch chefs prepare your meal in the open kitchen as you relax in leather seats. This is a top deck experience for the whole entire family!

These signature dining locations are called “signature” for one important reason…each one is unique in its own way. They offer a variety of menu items from different cultures and backgrounds. So, make sure you make advance reservations, dress spiffy, and have fun when you dine at one of Disney’s Signature Restaurants.

Most people agree that New York City offers more fine dining restaurants than almost anywhere else in the world. Most of them you will find in the downtown New York City area. Greenwich Village, SoHo and Tribeca offer you more options than most people know what to do with. In this article, I will give your guide to getting the most out of New York City fine dining.

Let’s start with the Tribeca area. One of the most favorite restaurants here is the Capsouto Frères. It offers both high quality service and a beautiful environment, in addition to food. Best known for its entrées, the Capsouto Frères is a charming little restaurant that is sure to warm your heart.

In the Greenwich Village, a restaurant you must visit is the II Cantinori. It’s a very charming Italian restaurant, resembling a farmhouse with a variety of different meal preparations. Especially tasty or the pasta specialties and imported mullusk in risotto. Most people have reported very satisfactory and attentive service at the Il Cantinori.

For southwestern meals, consider the Mesa Grill. This is the restaurant of the famous chef Bobby Flay. Bold and distinctive sauces are the highlight of the meals, especially for the spice rubbed New York strip steak with a homemade Mesa steak sauce. The desserts are also highly recommended to try. And if you love tequila, you have an option of 20 different flavors.

The Periyali is another wonderful Greenwich Village option, also opened by the same people that started the II Cantinori. The Periyali specializes in classical Greek foods, making for excellent New York City fine dining. If you’re going to eat here, it is recommended you try either the fava or pan seared calf’s liver as an entrée. Both are excellent choices.

And for American cuisine, check out the Gotham Bar and Grill. The high ceiling dining room, floor-to-ceiling windows, and a very energetic atmosphere offers a beautiful environment, but also provides intimacy as well, because of the design. In addition to the new American cuisine offered here, it is a must that you try the wines as well.

In conclusion, I have given you some different options for New York City fine dining, based on a variety of different restaurants. Each offers its own special cuisines and environments. Put them on your list, and make it your goal to check them all out at least once during your lifetime.
